The Opportunity
Avance seeks an associate to join the investment team and play a key role in all aspects of the investment process. This includes evaluation, due diligence, financing, deal execution and portfolio management. This is an opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment with experienced investors. The firm is looking for passionate and talented individuals to support Avance as it grows in both its locations, Miami and New York.

The Role
- Assume a prominent role in the transaction execution process, including identification and sourcing of opportunities; industry deep-dives including key trends and competitive landscapes; company-specific due diligence; financial modeling and investment committee memo creation;
- Work closely with other investment professionals to execute transactions from start to finish and to support portfolio companies, with an opportunity to apply Avance’s STAGE™ framework;
- Shadow and be coached by experienced private equity colleagues;
- Contribute to the preparation of analyses, materials and supporting documentation as part of firm and investor communications.
