He launched PrivateEquityCareer.com and its companion newsletter Private Equity Career News in May 2019 to help PE professionals find jobs, learn new skills, and stay abreast of trends in hiring and compensation. The company also helps talent professionals find diverse hires. In 2023 the company launched a sister fundraising platform for PE professionals at LPAllocator.com. David is the author of the book A Cartoon Lover’s Guide to Private Equity. You can purchase copies here. All after-tax profits of his book go to Toigo Foundation, which encourages women and minorities to pursue careers in finance.

That’s Michelle, who spends her days searching job ads, career pages and job boards for the most attractive opportunities in private equity. Michelle also talks with executive recruiters and talent executives to learn about job openings, hiring trends, compensation trends and more. Earlier in her career Michelle served as a contributing writer at Wrightsville Beach Magazine & Lumina News. She also covered the statehouse for the Charleston Daily Mail in Charleston, West Virginia. A runner in her spare time, Michelle serves as an event success manager at race sponsor It’s Go Time.

Heading up pest control for the PrivateEquityCareer.com jobs, training and recruitment platform is LP the cat. LP ensures that corporate headquarters remains free of flies, bugs and small rodents. Prior to joining the company in 2022, LP served in a similar capacity for AllFourPaws Animal Shelter in Charleston, South Carolina. In her spare time LP enjoys lying in the sun and sitting on the window sill.
