Heather Fox Ewing has taken the reins as director of portfolio talent at software investor JMI Equity, Private Equity Career News has learned.

Cresset Partners, the multi-family-office affiliate co-founded by Chicago PE pioneers Avy Stein and Eric Becker, is building up its PE and private credit programs through recent hires and recruitment efforts centered on a private funds group.

The firm is the private capital and real estate-focused subsidiary of multi-family office Cresset Capital Management, which co-chairmen Stein and Becker launched in 2017. Cresset Capital Management manages about $27 billion in assets and provides family office services through Cresset Asset Management.
