Z Capital Group, a leading, privately held private markets asset management firm with approximately $5 billion of AUM across complementary private equity and credit businesses, seeks a corporate development director to join its New York City offices.
Your Role: The corporate development director will work with dynamic teams of private equity and private credit fund managers in a fast-paced work environment and play an integral role in investor development. The position will report to the chief executive officer.
Responsibilities:
- Development of relationships primarily with pension consultants, private wealth platforms and fund placement groups
- Coordination of current and prospective investor outreach
- Conducting extensive LP research and data mining
- Attendance at relevant industry conferences
- Enhancement of firm/brand awareness
- Utilize ZCGs proprietary database and analytics
Your Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of recent, relevant experience in an investor development role or experience as a Project Manager with a leading third-party fundraising group or pension consulting firm
- Knowledge of LP base (private equity and private credit)
- Proven understanding of private equity and private credit asset classes
- Superior presentation and communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Undergraduate degree from a highly regarded college or university
