Former Trilantic exec joins Apollo’s hybrid equity-debt team

Munesh Advani, until recently a managing director at buyout and growth equity firm Trilantic North America, has left to join Apollo Global Management’s hybrid equity-debt team.

In his new role as managing director at the New York City-based firm, Advani will source investment opportunities in business services, according to a LinkedIn post he shared last week week.

Three senior executives step down from Cerberus

Three senior executives have left New York City-based alternative investment firm Cerberus Capital Management in recent weeks, including two that worked for its technology consulting arm.

No longer at the firm are Pavan Arora, previously chief technology officer and managing director for Cerberus Technology Solutions and Scott C. Johnson, previously managing director of business development for the same subsidiary. Meantime, Pankil Doshi has stepped down as managing director on the real estate private credit team at Cerberus Capital Management. Trilantic North America, Centerbridge lose senior executives

Two senior executives have recently left prominent New York City-based  fund managers Trilantic North America and Centerbridge Partners.

Lee Nussbaum has stepped down as managing director at buyout and growth equity shop Trilantic North America, while Brian Chu has stepped down as senior managing director at buyout, private credit and real estate investment firm Centerbridge Partners. Ex-Trilantic exec joins outsourced CIO’s co-invest team

Former Trilantic North America consumer specialist Jennifer Fox Bensimon has joined the co-investment team at outsourced CIO provider Partners Capital in New York City.

Bensimon joins a London-based firm with more than 360 people managing some $60 billion in assets for endowments, foundations, family offices and wealthy investors. As of June the firm was raising money for its seventeenth PE fund of funds, Partners Capital Condor Fund XVII LP. At press-time, the firm was recruiting for several team members, including a private equity investment associate in San Francisco.

Special situations head at Trilantic NA leaves for Golub Capital

After three years as head of the special situations team at Trilantic North America, Igor Fuks has left the firm to join New York City-based mid-market lender Golub Capital as managing director, according to a February 5 announcement on LinkedIn.

Trilantic hires executives to lead special-situations investments

Trilantic North America, the New York City shop that closed its latest buyout fund at $2.75 billion about 18 months ago, has brought aboard at least two investment professionals with experience investing in troubled situations.

Igor Fuks, managing director and head of special situations, and Seth Goldberg, managing director-special situations, previously worked together at New York City-based Tarsadia Capital. The firm is the investment arm of Tarsadia, described as "a multi-billion dollar family office" on the Tarsadia Capital Web site. It invests in debt, equities and commodities on the secondary market.
