GP seeding firm Grafine Partners releases sophomore fund
Grafine Partners, which seeds emerging managers, has begun raising its second private equity fund of funds.
The New York City-based firm did not disclose a target for Grafine Capital II LP in SEC filings, but it raised more than $600 million for its inaugural fund, surpassing its original $500 million target. Firms backed through the debut fund include Ascendant Capital Partners, a Los Angeles-based real estate investment firm; Stanley Capital Partners, a London-based mid-market PE firm; and The Newcastle Network, a Wellesley, Massachusetts-based investment firm that provides growth capital to consumer companies.
Eric Zoller’s Tap Root Capital to back first-time fund managers
Summit, New Jersey-based Tap Root Capital, founded earlier this year by former executives at Sixpoint Partners and Harris Williams, is raising its first fund of funds earmarked to back debut fund managers.
