Minority co-founder of P4G Capital steps down
Hugh Browne has stepped down as managing director at P4G Capital, the San Francisco-based buyout firm that he co-founded in 2015 with Managing Principal Rachel Lehman, Private Equity Career News has learned.
The departure of Browne (pictured), a Black American, marks a setback for one of the few buyout firms in the country to count both a minority and a woman as co-founders. P4G Capital announced the closing of its debut fund at $209 million in January 2021.
P4G Capital to expand deal, portfolio resource teams to help deploy fund
San Francisco-based lower-middle-market firm P4G Capital would like to bring aboard at least two associates or senior associates by year-end to help deploy a debut fund closed early last year, Private Equity Career News has learned. The roughly 16-person firm also has an eye on expanding its portfolio resources group.
