A former partner at manufacturing investor MPE Partners has launched a new PE firm backing entrepreneur and family-owned industrial businesses, highlighting a recent wave of firm launches by veteran investors across the private markets.
Greater Boston-based PVP Capital Partners, founded earlier this year by Graham Schena, is one of several new firms that have recently surfaced.
David Kim and Emilio Voli will be stepping down this June as partners and co-heads of investor relations at London and New York-based buyout firm Apax Partners as they bump into its mandatory retirement age of 60. An internal candidate has been tapped to take their place, but the firm does plan to hire several mid-level to senior professionals over the next several months.
