Cory Eaves joins Boston-based buyout firm BayPine as partner and head of portfolio operations, according to a press release. Most recently Eaves served as an operating partner at General Atlantic.
With money pouring into private credit platforms, even as private equity stalls, firms that make the strategy a specialty are staffing up.
Los Angeles-based credit specialist The TCW Group, for one, is hiring a vice president and a data analyst for its private credit team, while New York City-based money manager Aksia is hiring in advance of raising money for the Calamos Aksia Alternative Credit and Income Fund.
