The Riverside Company—owner and steward to more than 100 companies located around the world—seeks a vice president to join its Boston-based credit arm. More details follow:
The Firm: Founded in 1988, Riverside Company sponsors buy-and-builds from 15 offices in North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. Its more than 300 employees pursue deals in business services, consumer brands, education, healthcare, software, and specialty manufacturing.
Riverside Credit Solutions: One of nine families of investment strategies, Riverside Credit Solutions offers cash flow-based senior loans to finance both sponsor-backed and non-sponsored transactions. The eight-professional-strong team typically backs lower-middle-market companies generating anywhere from $3 million to $35 million in EBITDA.
Your Role: As a vice president, you’ll be pitching in on all aspects of the business. Responsibilities range from underwriting, executing and negotiating transactions to cultivating relationships with executives at other private equity firms, lenders and institutional investors.
Your Qualifications: You should bring a 5+ year track record in one or more comparable underwriting and execution roles. You should also be “highly collaborative,” and demonstrate both “initiative” and “a commitment to learning.”
