The Firm: Founded in 1998, Edgewater Capital Partners invests up to $50 million of equity to acquire and build companies operating in specialty industrials, life sciences, advanced materials and engineered components markets by investing in their people, infrastructure and technology. Target companies typically generate EBITDA of up to $25 million on revenue of up to $100 million.
Your Role: As a senior analyst you’ll have a chance to work with the entire Edgewater team, from partners on down, as well as directly with the managers of portfolio companies. Among responsibilities, you’ll have a central role on deal due diligence (modeling, market research and identifying key business trends), underwriting the investment thesis, and performing key analyses for investor relations. You’ll be an integral part of Edgewater’s culture of continuous improvement both on- and off- deals.
Your Qualifications: Along with at least a Bachelor’s degree, you should bring an entrepreneurial mindset and a year or more of high-level achievement in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, lending, consulting or related field. Make sure, also, to demonstrate your desire to contribute to the Edgewater team by building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
