Big Moves: Apollo Global, Winston & Strawn, New Era Advisors

Nino Cordoves joins the Los Angeles office of buyout and credit giant Apollo Global Management as a managing director, according to his Linkedin profile. Cordoves most recently served as a managing director at Carlyle Group.


Dominick DeChiara, a private equity and M&A partner in the New York City office of Winston & Strawn, is tapped to serve as chief strategic officer, according to his Linkedin profile. DeChiara joined the firm in 2009 after serving as a partner at Nixon Peabody.

Beth Rahn (pictured) has unveiled the strategy of her new Washington DC-based firm New Era Advisors: to provide fund placement services to female and minority-led managers of private equity, growth equity, venture capital, real estate, and private debt funds. This spring, Private Equity Career Newsreported exclusively that Rahn had left multi-family office McNally Capital as principal and head of family capital to start her own firm.
